Forever S.I.T. #5

Hello everyone!

As I navigated my way through college this first year, I have been able to realize the important role Situs Inversus Totalis has had in shaping who I am. I am proud to have this condition!

It has been hard to adjust with this condition through my 18 years of life. I live with chronic sinusitis and nasal congestion as a result of SIT. Similar to many who face this condition and its implications, it is difficult to explain what your life is like. However, I have learned to move past it and pursue my passions and goals academically without doubt.

In this day and age, everyone faces something, and for me it is this condition that holds a big part of my life. SIT will forever be apart of who I am and it reminds me everyday to work harder and stronger in life.

Here is another inspirational quote:

It is only through labor and painful effort, by grim energy and resolute courage, that we move on to better things.
— Theodore Roosevelt
